ViManagement is a cryptocurrency portfolio tracking and analytics platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the service, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
When you create an account we collect your first name, last name, and email address. If you sign in via Google or Facebook OAuth, we receive whichever profile fields those providers share (typically name, email, and profile photo).
We also collect usage data automatically — your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session duration — to operate the service, prevent fraud, and improve performance.
Authenticate you and maintain your session.
Store and display your crypto portfolio holdings and transaction history.
Send transactional emails (password reset, email confirmation).
Analyse aggregate, anonymised usage patterns to improve features.
Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the cloud infrastructure providers needed to operate this service (hosting, email delivery) and only to the extent required to deliver those services.
We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.
We use session cookies and localStorage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (e.g. dark/light mode). No third-party advertising cookies are used. You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings — this will sign you out.
If you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, you are subject to their respective privacy policies. We only request the minimum scopes needed to create your account (name and email). We do not post on your behalf or access contacts.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or auditing purposes.
Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data.
Portability — request your portfolio data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email below.
We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, hashed passwords, JWT tokens with short expiry) to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise your data rights, please contact the project maintainers via the repository linked from the application.
